Air Conditioning Installation in Bromley
Recently Built 4-Bed Detached | Samsung CEBU 2.5kW Single Split
Overview
Bromley Energy completed a single split air conditioning installation in a recently built four-bedroom detached property in Bromley.
The system was installed to serve the master bedroom, providing quiet, efficient cooling and heating while maintaining the clean finish expected in a modern home.
A 2.5kW Samsung CEBU wall-mounted unit was selected, paired with an Aspen Lime condensate pump and finished externally with Inaba Denko white trunking for a neat, premium appearance.
The Problem
Common contributing factors included:
- High insulation levels retaining heat
- Solar gain through glazing
- Limited nighttime ventilation
- No active cooling provision
The homeowners wanted:
- Quiet overnight cooling
- A system that blended into the modern interior
- No visible or messy drainage runs
- A clean external finish
- Efficient heating and cooling from one system
The challenge was to install a practical climate control solution without compromising the appearance of the bedroom or the outside of the property.
The Solution
We specified a 2.5kW Samsung CEBU single split air conditioning system, ideal for a master bedroom in a modern detached home.
This system was selected because it offers:
- Quiet operation for overnight use
- Efficient cooling during warmer months
- Reverse-cycle heating for cooler periods
- A clean, modern indoor unit design
- Reliable performance from a trusted manufacturer
To manage condensate neatly, an Aspen Lime pump was installed. This allowed the drainage route to be handled discreetly where gravity drainage was not the preferred option.
Externally, the installation was finished using Inaba Denko white trunking, giving the pipework a smart, tidy finish that suited the property.
Technical Design
System Type: Single split wall-mounted air conditioning
Manufacturer: Samsung Climate Solutions
Model: Samsung CEBU 2.5kW
Application: Master bedroom
Property Type: Recently built four-bedroom detached home
Location: Bromley
Condensate Management: Aspen Lime condensate pump
External Finish: Inaba Denko white trunking
Key design considerations included:
- Correct sizing for the master bedroom
- Low noise operation for sleeping comfort
- Indoor unit positioned for effective airflow
- Condensate route designed to avoid messy drainage
- External pipework kept neat and discreet
- Outdoor unit positioned with service access and airflow in mind
Correct sizing was important. Oversizing can lead to short cycling, poor humidity control and less comfortable operation. By selecting the right output for the room, the system can run more steadily and efficiently.
Installation

- Securely fixed and levelled
- Positioned for comfort and airflow
- Installed with a clean wall penetration
- Connected to the Aspen
- Lime condensate pump
- Finished neatly to suit the modern interior

- Single condenser reducing external impact
- Mounted with anti-vibration supports
- Refrigerant lines pressure tested and vacuumed
- Fully commissioned in line with manufacturer standards
Condensate Pump
An Aspen Lime condensate pump was used to manage condensate removal cleanly and reliably.
This helped avoid visible drainage routes and supported a much neater final finish.
Outdoor Unit and External Finish
The external condenser was positioned carefully to minimise visual impact while allowing suitable airflow and future service access.
Pipework was routed and finished using Inaba Denko white trunking, helping the installation blend more naturally with the outside of the property.
The system was then pressure tested, vacuumed and commissioned in line with manufacturer standards.
The Result
The homeowners now have quiet, efficient climate control in their master bedroom, with cooling for warmer nights and heating support when needed.
The finished installation provides:
Comfortable bedroom temperatures in summer
Quiet operation for overnight use
Efficient heating and cooling from one system
A clean internal finish
Discreet condensate management
Smart external trunking with a premium appearance
This project shows how a carefully designed single split air conditioning installation can improve comfort in a modern Bromley home without compromising the look and feel of the property.
