NOTH KENT & SOUTH EAST LONDON'S HEET GEAK ACCREDITED INSTALLERS

What is Heat Geek Accreditation?

Heat Geek is the UK’s leading training and accreditation programme for heating professionals. Becoming accredited isn’t easy, it means passing tough exams in heat loss calculations, hydraulic balancing, flow temperatures, and smart control integration.

While many installers can fit a system, a Heat Geek understands how to design it properly so that it runs at its most efficient. That means your system won’t just function, it’ll perform at its best.

The result? Lower bills, improved comfort, and peace of mind that your setup is built to last.

Bromley's Heat Geek Accredited Installers

A smarter way to heat your South East London's Home

Heating isn’t something most people plan for, it becomes urgent when the boiler breaks, usually in the middle of winter. For years, the only option in Bromley & London has been another gas boiler. The problem? Gas prices keep climbing, and replacing like-for-like locks you into higher bills for years. Now there’s another choice. We are proud to bring Heat Geek’s ZeroDisrupt system to Bromley, North Kent & South East London. This means you can now get a heat pump installed for the same cost as a boiler, around £3,000. And because heat pumps are far more efficient, your monthly bills
go down too. I can do this, not by lowering standards but by raising them. With Zero Disrupt, every design is based on data from thousands of homes, refined with the knowledge of the UK’s best heating engineers.

That means:

For you, this means the best heating system possible at a price that finally makes sense.

Smarter designs: no guesswork, no wasted upgrades
Better comfort: steady warmth, reliable hot water
High-quality installs: delivered by a trained Heat Geek engineer right here in Sussex

What Does Heat Geek Accreditation Actually Mean?

Anyone can install a boiler or a heat pump. But a Heat Geek Accredited engineer goes further.

We’ve passed advanced training in:

Heating system design

Every home is different. We start by designing your system around the building, not just the boiler. That means choosing the right type of heating for your space, whether that’s underfloor, radiators, or a mix, and making sure it works with your lifestyle and energy goals.

Heat Loss Calculations

We don’t guess. We measure. Heat loss calculations help us understand how much heat your home actually needs in each room. That way, we avoid oversizing the boiler or heat pump, which wastes energy and pushes up bills, and make sure you’re heating smarter, not harder.

Smart Zoning & Control

Why heat the whole home if you’re only in one room? We can split your home into zones and add smart controls so you can control temperatures room-by-room, from your phone. That means more comfort, more control, and less waste.

Flow Temperature Optimisation

Most systems in the UK run way hotter than they need to. We design yours to run at lower flow temperatures, which makes your system quieter, more efficient, and ideal for pairing with heat pumps and smart controls. Lower temps = lower running costs.

Heat Pumps vs Boilers

When it comes to heating your home, the two most popular systems today are boilers and heat pumps. Both are designed to keep you warm but they work in very different ways.

If designed and installed correctly, a heat pump is the more eco-friendly option. It runs on electricity and extracts heat from the air (or ground), bringing it indoors to warm your home. Because it moves heat rather than generating it by burning fuel, it’s far more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.

A boiler, by contrast, burns fossil fuels to heat water, which is then circulated through your home’s radiators or underfloor heating. While boilers have been a reliable heating option for decades, they do have a higher environmental impact compared to modern heat pump systems.

So which is the better choice? It depends on your home, your priorities, and how the system is designed. For an eco-friendly, energy-efficient solution a heat pump is often ideal. For older or less insulated properties or those with higher heat demand, a boiler may still be the better fit.

At Bromley Energy, we’re here to help you make the right choice. With our in-depth knowledge and Heat Geek accredited expertise, we’ll design the best system for your home so you can enjoy reliable, efficient heating all year round.

FAQ

We’ve included answers to the questions we hear most often.

Thinking about a heat pump? Wondering if your current system is running efficiently? Not sure what flow temperature means (or why it matters)? You’re in the right place.

These FAQs are designed to share what we’ve learned through advanced training, real-world installations, and plenty of conversations with both home & business owners across London.

As a Heat Geek installers we aren't just trained to fit equipment, we’re trained to design systems for maximum efficiency and comfort. That means we calculate heat loss, optimise flow temperatures, balance your system, and configure smart controls properly. It’s about doing things the right way, not just the fast way.

Not always. It depends on the heat loss of your home and the required flow temperature. As Heat Geeks, we assess your current emitters and let you know if upgrades are needed for your system to run efficiently and quietly, without oversizing or wasting energy.

Flow temperature is the heat of the water flowing through your radiators or underfloor heating. Lower flow temperatures mean higher efficiency and lower running costs, especially with heat pumps. We carefully design systems to run at the lowest effective temperature for your home.

We use room-by-room heat loss calculations, based on insulation levels, window sizes, and floor area. This ensures the system is perfectly matched to your property, not over- or under-sized, which can cause poor performance and higher bills.

It depends on the property. We’ll assess the available space, insulation, and current heating setup. In many cases, flats and maisonettes can be upgraded to heat pumps with the right design, and we’ll tell you if it’s worth doing.

In a well-designed system, a heat pump can be cheaper to run than gas, especially if you're on a heat pump-specific electricity tariff. The key is efficient system design, that's where Heat Geek training makes the difference.

Hydraulic balancing ensures that hot water is distributed evenly to all radiators. Without it, some rooms may overheat while others stay cold. We include balancing in every Heat Geek system, for even heat, reduced noise, and improved comfort.

Smart zones let you control different parts of your home independently,  like upstairs vs. downstairs. They’re great for improving comfort and saving energy. We design smart zoning systems that work with new heat pumps.

Weather compensation adjusts your heating based on the outside temperature. On milder days, your system uses less energy. It’s a simple way to improve comfort and reduce running costs, and Heat Geek installers know how to set it up properly.

Yes,  the BUS Grant currently offers £7,500 towards the cost of a heat pump installation. We’ll guide you through the application and make sure your system qualifies under MCS guidelines.
